SrPLUS™ is the PLUS system's repeater unit with a built-in serial interface, which enables simple integration of a variety of legacy systems into a PLUS IP-based network Typical applications of the SrPLUS include AMI from meters with serial interface and SCADA extension with legacy RTU units. In AMI applications it can interface the meter either directly or via a data concentrator, and supports reading of various types of meters such as electricity, gas, water and district heating in parallel. The SrPLUS is housed in an IP67 compliant outdoor enclosure, which provides it with extended environmental protection. It can withstand heavy rain in outdoor installations, as well as flooding in underground installations.
The SrPLUS is remotely managed by MainNet's network management system, NmPLUS.
