UMAT is MainNet's Next-Generation web based tool for management, monitoring and a portal for smart metering. UMAT provides automatic detection for Metering devices connected to the BPL network, automatic identification and type detection, option for reading metering information and supply interface for Metering servers for achieving seamless integration between the Metering devices and their Management applications.
The UMAT system interconnects between the AMR/AMI world and the IP world while making use of the benefit of MainNet's BPL system.
UMAT contain tools for easy integration to future AMR/AMI devices, and supports customization according to each customer's special installation base.
